What are your qualifications?
The owner holds a bachelors degree Accounting from Hodges University, is a Certiified Quickbooks ProAdvisor, holds American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers membership, Licensed Florida Notary and more than 20 years accounting and bookkeeping experience working with various types of industries.  This allows us to provide you with knowledgeable, professional and quality services.

How does this work?
When you fill out the Quote, we will review the information and a representative will contact you regarding the key services that we can provide to you along with and estimate of your monthly costs.  A representative will contact you to schedule an appointment to further discuss the benefits with you. 

Do I need sign a contract?
An engagement letter will be presented to your representative for signature that explains the services that we will perform, what our responsibilities are to you and what your responsibilities are.  The engagement can be terminated at any time with a written 30 day notice.

What are your fees?
Each business is unique, so we custom tailor our services based on your needs.  If you would like more information based on your needs, please complete and submit the quote and we will provide you with more information tailored to meet your needs.

Do you work with my CPA?
We will work with your CPA professional and help you get organized to make submitting your records to your CPA a piece of cake. Your current accountant will be grateful for accurate data that they can really use to help you build more wealth.  We take away your bookkeeping headaches.

Do you offer onsite services? 
Yes.  We will provide onsite services if you prefer instead of submitting documents to DJ’S Professional Bookkeeping Services, LLC.  This service is available to certain locations.  For more information, please complete the quote and submit to our office.

What about Fraud Prevention?
DJ’S Professional Bookkeeping Services, LLC assists the business owner to help prevent fraud in their business.  You are in control of your financial transactions at all times.  Here are some ways that we assist you in controlling your books:

1.  All checks are signed by you.
2. You open all mail, we record the receivables and reconcile the accounts
3. You keep the original source documents and provide us with a scanned document or a copy, therefore no evidence can be destroyed or removed
4. We prepare and write the checks, but you print and sign them.  This way only approved checks will be created
5. If you are set-up for payroll services, we process the information, but you are able to review and verify that the people receiving checks are actually on your payroll.  All checks are printed and signed by the owner.
6. DJ’S Professional Bookkeeping Services, LLC will meet with you to make sure that you understand your books.  We make sure that you can easily review the books, and understand all management reports.  We make sure that you know what to look for and will point out anything that may not be in order.  

Will I lose control of my books if they are kept by an outside service?
Actually you will gain more control of your books because you will have improved financial reports and information at your fingertips and have more time to money to plan business events, instead of reacting to them.

Who controls the money and make the decisions?
You have complete control of your monies and makes all decisions on how your monies are used or invested.  You make the decision for all payments.  You decide what individuals and vendors are paid and the frequency of payments.  We provide the data, but you approve all invoices for payment and sign all written checks.
